Measure a normal week

A rough weekly count is more useful than saying there is 'a lot' of laundry. Track typical pieces for a short period and note seasonal peaks, event days or changeovers that create additional demand.

  • Item type and dimensions
  • Average pieces per week
  • Peak weekly volume
  • Current clean-stock capacity

Define the finish

Explain how the items are used and presented. Folded towels, pressed table linen and bedding prepared for storage may create different expectations and handling requirements.

Map the handover

Record the collection address, parking or loading constraints, preferred windows, responsible contact and where clean and used stock will be stored. Clear handovers reduce disruption for both teams.
